Minibike handlebars. Where?

From watching a pile of vids, I decided 7D2D was going to be a great time killer over the winter.

After a couple lousy random gen maps, I now have one with a couple tiny towns near each other. One in the desert, one in the forest. I settled in the forest so I have game to hunt for food. Neither is sustainable, and my 1'st air drop thankfully had the minibike book. Tomorrow is day 7 and I need to explore on day 8 for a new home.
Besides the Pass 'n Gas (which I don't have in either town), where can I hope to find the handle bars? I'm running out of places to scavenge. I have every other piece of the minibike ready to go, minus the handlebars.

you can make them it is used in 3 things. search in your crafting. if thats all you need you are well on your way.

Biker Zombies and Skater Zombies sometimes have Minibike Handlebars but then you are at the mercy of RNG.

The Minibike Handlebars are a craftable item (as long as you've read the book...and you have). Note that there are 'Handlebars' and 'Minibike Handlebars' and you will need to craft the former before the latter. If you type the item in the search bar of your inventory screen, it will show you the mats needed to craft. You'll also need a Workbench to be able to craft this item, so if you haven't unlocked/built that yet you can visit a Trader or POI that has a functional one.

Handle bars are a pain because you need a headlight to craft them. Find these by destroying cars with the wrench. Hopefully you'll have more luck than I did the last time I had to do it. I think I took apart 100 cars before I finally got a headlight drop. Had plenty of batteries by the time that was over.

I was probably typing in minibike versus just handlebars. Noob error. I did build a crafting bench so I could get the mining lamp. So I'll be good to go.

You rarely find headlights in wrecked cars (possible, but rare). However, they are fairly common drops from the "Damaged" category, so you need to concentrate on the "better class" cars to have more chance of dropping lights.

I usually find more headlamps from wrenching car frames. Every once and a while, it wont drop one for a few frames but I never think it is going to be that long.

Frames give you mostly metal, pipes and gas. It is not a problem unless your wrench is not in good shape and want to save it for damaged/undamaged cars for motors and batteries.
