Cannot join anymore.. "Spawned entity with wrong pos: pos=(0.0, 0.0, 0.0)"
Hello, my friend cannot spawn anymore, she gets that message whenever joining the server:
2017-10-13T17:20:18 4447.916 WRN Spawned entity with wrong pos: [type=EntityPlayer, name=Nova Valentine, id=35190] id=35190 pos=(0.0, 0.0, 0.0)

She is still in the list of players and we can execute commands on her, but the loading screen won't disappear and her character doesn't spawn. Everyone else is spawning ok however.

When she left the game last time, she went in a prison cell of the prison POI to log safely out.

We tried:
-Console command to kill her
-Console command to teleport her to me / to coordinates
-display spawn screen
-display debug menu
-kicking her
-She tried single player game and she can play alright
-restarting the server
-Executing Steam's "verify integrity of game cache" on her game
-Destroying a large area around the prison cell where she was
-Digging all the way to coordinates (0,0,0) and clearing a large area

Anyone has any ideas other than deleting her character?

You can edit the spawnpoints.xml on the server to set client spawn location thou how this might affect bed rolls is unknown. If setting spawn point works then have everyone run around for a few minutes then all exit. Now reset the spawnpoints.xml to default and let them back in and see if it clears.

Use pastebin to upload and share the server log as it contains more detailed information which helps to figure out the fault.

I'd recommend everyone replace there bed rolls asap after rejoining or you will spawn somewhere after they die ... and not where they thought they should be

The server logs are the "output_log__(date)" files in "7DaysToDie_Data" right? Just want to make sure I upload the right thing.

correct just the last dated one

This should be my latest log, I haven't hosted the server since the issue happened.
Don't know if it helps, but the player who's having the problem is the one with the username "Rhys".

Password for the pastebin: "Forum" (Just so it's not publicly outside available 7dtd.)

The log shows some information but will need the log from your friends system as it will contain connection stats specific to her side when attempting to join the server

In mean time have her

1: Do a file verification

2: Connect to any server not running EAC or password protected, with low ping ... only needs to do this for a few minutes

Remember the log dated when issue appear is the one needed

Sorry, I had a lot on my plate recently and wasn't able to keep up with this thread, I'm back now and my friend's still having trouble.

He gave me this to me after he followed your instructions, hopefully this is what's needed.

I found the reason for this. The thing is that the user's file with the extension *.ttp is corrupted.
There is only one way to solve this problem, this is if you have a backup.

The user's file is located at the path /.local/share/7DaysToDie/Saves/Your_world/Your_Game/Player
or WinOS
C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\Saves\Your_world\Your_Game\Player

To find out which file belongs to the player, check the name in the file
/.local/share/7DaysToDie/Saves/Your_world/Your_Game/players.xml
or WinOS
C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\Saves\Your_world\Your_Game\players.xml

Sorry for the rezz, but a-Lex, how did you figure out what is corrupted? I'm having a similar situation with a certain user on my server.

the method of verification and testing. I can advise you, if the method does not work, try to delete the user's files first (before that, make sure to backup). After deletion, the player needs to log in to the server, everything will be reset to the beginning. After that, replace the files of this user from the working backup. This decision has already helped me with three players. Good luck.
