Introduction to Modding 7D2D - A guide for us dummies.

Many folks don't look into the 7D2D forum modding section or the SDX section as they think modifying this game is too difficult for anyone who isn't a seasoned programmer. That once might of been true, but no more. A small team of folks led by SphereII put together a website which is a basic, 101, introduction to modifying 7D2D. If you follow the step by step guide and/or view the videos, you will be making game changes to suit your preferences. Seriously, it much easier to do than you might imagine.

nice one! started modding our server with 16.x - every input welcome. once you get started it's pretty fun!

i can only encourage every one who runs a server to get involved with modding. this game has a lot more potential than it shows in vanilla.

Glad you like it. If folks understood just how chimp simple it is to add new items like weapons and blocks into the game, they would never play vanilla again.
