Moving items

Havent played the game much is there a way to move a stack of items to say a storage box with having to drag it across? I know how to get loot into my inventory by pressing R but i cant figure out how to move stacks. Probably written right in front of my face and im sounding stupid but like i said new to the game

Hold shift when you click it and it will throw it into whatever else you have open. If you have nothing open, it will swap it between your belt (lowest number slot available) and your inventory.

You can also split a stack in half by dragging with right click or drop 1 item from a stack while holding it and right clicking rather than left clicking.
