Radioactive zombies: they arent adding anything to the game...
Currently they're just a complete nuisance, espically in multiplayer...
Every day 7 or screamer horde spawns heaps of radioactive zombies, even if you're as low as level 20-25
They're impossible to kill at that tier, with 250 quality wooden bows/iron arrows, and low quality guns. You're forced to run away so they despawn when out of range, or just ignore them (by using bases without stairs). When a feature in the game requires you to use one of these two broken mechanics to combat it, it isn't fun anymore.

In single player they aren't as much of an issue since I can melee them with a 500q spiked club in full armor by the time they appear, in multiplayer melee is a death sentence, even with as little as 20 ping (which is what i have).

Either tone them down so that they can be killed with a wooden bow/iron arrows after being shot 100-200 times or remove them, they're broken.

edit: this isnt a whine thread, its my general opinion ffs, learn to differentiate.
The solution is to run away over a hilltop for 30 seconds, it isn't fun to cheese the game like that though, I'd rather they die after shooting them for 5 minutes tyvm.

Working as intended. Step up your game and use different traps and building defences.

Search the forums for help killing them.

Just some ideas to throw out there:
Make them do radiation damage, either on hit or as an area-of-effect. radiation gear is currently useless, but if you make them do radiation damage it may start having more use.

Remove running from them (if you're stubborn enough to keep the regeneration feature). It's impossible to land reliable headshots on them with the combination of: running, particle effects that make it so you cant see when the head moves, and zigzagging around when not on completely flat terrain.

Throw in another damage over time for radiation, similar to bleeding, only it's limited to radiation zombies.

Basically, anything besides what they are now.

Or learn to deal with them better. It's MP get a group together and concentrate fire. Build traps, use some different strategies

Unless the fun pimps have said themselves "we want a zombie thats completely impossible to kill, that you can only get rid of by running away and despawning it!" I'm calling 100% ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on your "working as intended" statement.

I have no problems with them in my Dead is Dead SP game. They are not broken.

As i've stated myself, I dont have a problem with them in SP either.
In MP they're ridiculously broken unless you go off to a supercomplex and get 600q loot handed to you your first days. Where's the fun in that? I play alone in MP.

What difficulty are you playing? I am at straight default settings.

In single player I use max difficulty and have no issue by the time they start appearing.
In MP the server is at 5, which is 1 below max difficulty if im not mistaken..

I play max difficulty single player with 25% loot and max zombie spawn settings.
I am absolutely an elitest in this game.
However when something is impossible to kill and adds no fun to the game, I will call it out. Spare me with your poor arguments.

If you were an " eliteist " you would be whining like a child.

Doing research is " a poor arguement " ??

answer the questions i posed and you will have the correct answers !!

Were through here, you continue to be ignorant and fail, or learn and excel.

You could use wire traps easily, hadn't thought of that.
Irregardless, carrying wire traps around on your hotbar 24/7 is a pet peeve of mine; i used to do it with spikes when dogs were still a worry.
Furthermore knocking one down isnt a kill, so I'm not convinced it's possible as a low level with a wooden bow.
I ran into 3 at once from my first screamer horde, so i guess your solution is to spam hundreds of barbed wire traps as they run through them across the entire map? Then barbed wire becomes the defacto exploit, since you can use it to kill anything.

The issue is not so much they exist as it is that multiplayer spawning mechanics are completely broken AF. You'll probably just ♥♥♥♥♥ that i shouldn't play multiplayer, but what else should i expect from someone with a stick up their ***.

"Irregardless"... please....

If you simply don't like radiated zombies, remove them from the game. You have the ability to XML edit, don't be lazy. I agree with Dies, if you wetre an "elitest" you wouldn't be complaing as you would already have the skill to overcome even the worst situations. I also don't understand what you mean by multiplayer spawning is broken... Never seen a radiated zombie early on (before day 28) EVER.
