log cabin wood block - how to craft?

Hi there

I'm relatively new to this game (40hours in) and I really like it. But there are some blocks I'm not able to find an option to craft, like the log cabin wood blocks. I searched for hours now and all the recipes I found seems not to be possible in the current version. I also can't find the block in the crafting menu or wood recipes list.., is this block/the option to craft it gone? or is there a mechanic to craft more variant wood blocks I haven't discovered?

sorry if it's a stupid question, but I really searched for it. and sorry for my bad english, hope my question is clear, and thanks a lot in advance for help! ;)

i didn't look intop this but i think, you will need to use a paint tool to paint Wooden block to texture of log cabin block. :D

You either want the Wooden Pillar or an option that's now only acquired via the paint mechanic unless I'm mistaken.

As of A16 you cannot. You can paint it to look like that with paint and a brush tool, as well as the schematic/book (I forget which it is) that has the log cabin texture in it.
