Minibike wheels?
i have tried getting them the old way (hitting the stray tires around the map) but i seem to not be getting any from it.. i am using an axe and i feel stupid that i dunno how to get them. please help

I've been using the stone axe and iron axe and I get 1 tire out of every 3-5 that I go for.

it can be done with a stone axe. i always have luck with a iron Fire Axe, just keep hitting them

I think the type of tool used might change your chances of getting tires out of it. I get the most tires if I finish breaking them with a claw hammer

Maybe that's just RNG, but I don't seem to get very many if I break them with an axe or a sledgehammer (it happens, its just noticably more rare, for me)

I got most of wheels (looted about 20 or so out from idk, 40) with the wrench. Been told to use pickaxe and I got no wheels after many attempts. Sure tool has some influence but so far I don't see a consensus on it.

Wiki says:

"there is a 30% chance to obtain them by destroying old tires" so who knows!

if the wrench works well, maybe its any "construction tool" which would be claw hammer, wrench and stone axe

the rest are mining tools

I mean there is a definite difference in amount returned while mining / shoveling if you use the right tool for the job, it wouldn't shock me in the slightest if the same were true for aquiring other resources

I mean, what do you get out of cars if you use anything other than a wrench? right tool for the job gets you more loot
