Admin commands - giveself-command - How to set a count of an item you want to spawn?

Hi,

if I want to spawn an item on my server or in singleplayer I put in the command "giveself [ITEMNAME]. But is it possible to set a count?
For example I want to spawn 1000 wood - does I need to use this command 1000 times or is there a way to spawn more than a single unit of an item at once?

its easier to just turn on the creative menu (cm) and pull out stacks

Im admin of a small server and I sometimes have to give people items but in such case like give somebody a certain amount of an item I have a problem...
If it's possible I would like to know. Thank you anyways :)

well like Kunovega stated, you just open your f1 type in cm, then you can open that menu with "U" and pull anything out, you just need to split it down until you have the right amount then teleport to them.

nope, not the game mode, just the console commands for yourself. cm toggles creative menu for you only
