Quick Drop?
Ok so I craft like 150 stone axes to get up my tool crafting but i'm tired of having to drag and drop each axe. Is there a way to quick drop?

There is a 'drop item' key. I believe it is 'Q' by default. You can rebind though.

EDIT: The drop key only works with your toolbelt. Forgot about that.

There is not a quick drop from the inventory.

If you are into spam crafting (which I'm not) you can use the secure storage chest trick.

It works like this:
You put a frame on the ground and then on top of it you place a chest. When you're finished crafting you shift-click all the items from your inventory into the secure storage chest. When it's full you just remove the frame from the bottom and the chest gets destroyed. Rinse and repeat.

I have a G13 game pad. Use any programmable controller. Set one to toggled a function that spams the 'Q' key. I do the same with the 'E' Key for farming, and "Right Mouse" for planting.

Not time efficient though. Early on, sure. But stone isn't that valuable, nor is wood.

Yeah I spam craft like crazy to boost levels. I'll try that chest trick sounds good.

Scrapping Stone Axes wouldn't be a benefit since I'd have to go to each axe and click scrap which with all the time I'd be doing that I could of gotten WAY more resources.

my tip is......fill your bag inven fully and remain your belt space only one. and craft 100 stone axe and 'Q'key quickly push. this time you will be able to work only pick up weed or repair or construct. maybe i think you have enough wood and stone but weed not enough.

This is probably the quickest way. I was able to fill up about 4 chests full of stone axes. Placed them all in there and boom.. All gone

I can walk away from mine, during the night. :P I can go cook dinner. Or like just now, did dishes while my guy spamed out clubs, controller spamming the Q button to throw the new one out.

I have used this method before too , but be aware that when you drop and break the chest all the items in it go on the ground. And if you are having lag issues it will make it worse till all / most of the items have timed out and poofed. and remember to leave a block of space between each frame and chest , otherwise they wont fall when the frame is removed.

Ive made a macro and use 3 side mousebuttons to press the three different buttons on inventory menu. I just select anything, press button and it drops/scraps/equips it.

I really hate that the menu changes by selected item though, gotta learn which button use with which item type. But makes things so much faster to deal with, rather than dragging :)

(???) That is not my experience. When I do like I said the crate just breaks and on the ground you'll see some wooden rubble which you can easily remove with one stoneaxe hit.
