beeing afk for 5h in rl

hi guys,

i was afk in my bunker and i knew i gonna be afk for a while.... but i took a couple of beer and card games for my friend to leaf to make a long story short!

so i was afk for 5h+ and oc i died ( i guess from dehydration) i lost 20 helth and stammina and all my ♥♥♥♥♥ in my backpack and belt is gone now?? is this a known bug?

yup, I host a game perpetually and to do so I get naked and allow myself to die for just those reasons. The game stays up continually. And I do lose 10 wellness. You lost more because you dehydrated and starved to death... if you had just killed yourself you would ahve only lost 10. This can be accomplished by drowning, Dogs, zombies, base jumping, standing in fire, being shot by a friend, dancing on burning coals, eating glass and calling your wife by your girl friend's name.

What was the point of AFKing for 5 hours?

If you really want to make a habit of it, make a box for your stuff and AFK naked. Not that I can see any point in AFKing for that long

You died at twice while you were gone from starvation/dehydration, so all your gear was lost when you died the second time.

Easy solution: Log out

A second death does not remove the other backpacks. You can have many backpacks all over the world (assuming you died before the others despawn, and had items on you to make one)

The only thing that changes on a second death is that the map marker now points to the "new" backpack (if you made one). If you die with nothing on you, you don't make a new backpack to point at

But if you are fast enough you can go back and get all of your other backpacks, no matter how many times you die, whether or not they are being shown by the map marker or not

In fact if you die and find yourself with a really long walk, you should make your own map marker for your main backpack. This way if you die again you still have a chance to retrieve your original one

If your original backpack is gone it's because you took too long and it despawned. (or it's rolled down a hill and you just haven't found it yet, or a zombie accidently destroys it ~ they don't intentionally swing at them, but they can hit them while swinging at other things, or cops can blow up on them).

But this despawn timer has nothing to do with how many deaths you have had

I've had 4 to 6 backpacks on the ground at the same time from multiple deaths in a row (prior to picking any up) and still retrieved them all (because I got to them before the despawn timer)

i told u why i was afk.... a friend came by (to cut my hair) and i didnt know that we gonna drink several beer and playing cards after that (and oc i forgott that i didnt loged off)

dont worry i ve enought boxes but i was extending my bunker and thats why i got so much rebar and cement mix on me...
