Unable to place blocks in small area

I have a L Shape spot that will not allow me to place blocks, going into the air as well. It only lets me place around it. Anyone have any idea how to fix this? It's a real pain, and i hate it

1. Wait, those places sometimes refueses placing blocks in them, had the same sometimes with farms, it will vanish after some time... maybe.

2. Restart server/save, it fixes some bugs so might this too.

3. Dig arround it or make something colapse inside it, maybe then it will unlock?

Is there any other kind of block there? Sometimes it looks like nothing is there but it might be door jams taking up that space for example & other objects do the same like plating, fences. Try & take your axe or pick & swing at the area to see if you hit something. Could be a decal on a surface of something too or a bottle or something..

Every item that is placeable counts as a full building block, whether it be a 1/4 Block, Plate, Pole, Pillar, Candle or Wall Sign, they all count as a full block. Sometimes there are gaps that just cannot be filled if another block/object is occupying the space.

Perhaps your issue has more to do the voxel nature of this game. There are limitations with a fully-destructible world...this comes from an avid Bethesda fan who use to be accustomed to placing just about any object anywhere.

I'm not certain that this is the answer to the problem you are having...but I hope it helps!

I have tried to attack the spot. Nothing hits. The space acts like there is nothing there. So it broke the floor. I tried to place and remove things around it, even put a little explosive and blew it up, all the stuff got damaged and the spot left unchanged. The server restart didn't change a thing. And i know for a fact nothing is placed in this spot.

This is my friends map and i can't just delete the world file. More possible ideas would be good. I wana fix dis.

(Also) Tried to dig under, nothing) This space extends upwards ! Into the sky

Hmmm...that definitely sounds like a bug.

The only other suggestion I could make is to try to make the 'invisible' block fall, to destroy all blocks on top, around and underneath it. This, of course, is just a shot in the dark. I only mention this because I had an issue recently with a block seemingly hitboxless and this was the only way I could remove it. However, I did not have the invisibility issues...so really...just a shot in the dark. And the explosives you tried may have eliminated that possibility if they destroyed every block around it.

Hopefully someone more tech-savvy will swing by :)
