Could be as simple as EAC not being installed properly.

A few steps to do:

1. Verify integrity of your files. In Properties - Verify File Integrity
2. In your 7 Days folder, look for the EAC installer. Run it.

I've got the same issue, reinstalled EAC but it didnt fix issue

It does seem to be EAC that is causing the issue - I tried to connect to SP without EAC and it worked fine - trying to connect to any server however leaves me waiting on the "waiting for verification" screen

Seems like this problem came back once again and can't fix it reinstalling EAC... what now ? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game sometimes...

Yea, cant get into my server either,

Verified files... reinstalled EAC... same crap.

WTF is steam doing,... someone slap them very hard across the face please...

Same issue, followed all the steps. I can get into every server I try except for the one I play the most, Deadlights, which I can only get in to one out of 10 tries but when I do I can't get above a 3.8 fps yet can do 20 - 40 fps in all other servers and this didn't start until Alpha 15.2 (b7) went live with it's EAC "fix".

I think this is a server issue. I have the same problem when i try to join a server second time within the server period. When the server restarts then everything is ok.
