Aloe Vera farming help
So I've been attempting to farm Aloe Vera and it was going well, I had built a house made entirely out of wooden blocks, and in the house I had a patch of dirt that didn't have any ceiling above it, to provide it with light. I fertalized it, planted the seeds, and they seemed to grow just fine. It was at the point where they looked like fully grown aloe vera, the ones that you harvest in the wild, yet it never let me actually harvest them. I haven't explored with farming that much, so am I supposed to use the hoe on the plant or something? After some time the plants just seemed to disappear, an option to harvest them never coming up.

Sounds like a bug. I have a farm around my base and grow aloe vera without issues.

Try breaking a floor block next to the plant and see if you can pick it from that block.

THey might look like they're ready, but just not be ready yet. The final stage of groth of maturity of a plant before it's harvestable looks basically identical to a fully grown plant, give it a few more in game hours/days and you should be able to just look at the plant and hit E.

I'd say you just have to wait a little bit longer.

Alternative is maybe like stated above, a bug, if nothing changes after a few ingame days, whack them down and replant them.
