How do I kill myself?

I've looked on the internet for 5 mins. A friend and I are playing and I fell through the map for some reason and I don't know how to die and respawn

Exit out and restart the game, that should spawn you on top of the surface.

If not, use the teleport command.

I couldn't teleport because I wasn't the server admin. I just quit and we made a new game. lol
