calipers any use now?

So i saw calipers on trader, sold all my stuff just to get it and then i was suprised no calipers are needed for crafting bullet tips and casings. What are they needed for now?

I got Calipers on my very first Zombie kill at the start of the new game

It seems A16 streamlined progress a whole lot in general. It's slightly less random now, and progression feels a lot more natural. I like it.

Found calipers in a crate where my friend and I were building a base. I had no idea you didnt need them for making bullet casing any more. But as long as they still have important use, I am still excited for our very early find.

i like leveling system , making good items is more consistant and easier to get past "♥♥♥♥♥♥ tools" stage"

from what i can tell looking at all the reciepes calipers are not needed at this point, but that might change once experimental comes out.

i did buy 490 durability one for only 1150 chips

considering amount engines i later sold , tires , and other junk from car recycling it was free
