But... it's a Survival game.
Why not just turn down the difficulty to "1" and spawning to "2" (or "1".)
If you're not going to penalise the death experience, you may as well just play Creative, or turn zeds off altogether, eh?
EDIT; I'm fairly sure RedEagle did an online-compatible mod for this for an earlier version of the game; just go search it up. Probably best looking at the Modding sub-forum.
For a Server u can edit a File. For Singleplayer i think u can select it in options

Everyone always assumes that it's about penalising the death expirience and that it's not a survival game without losing stuff. It's honestly not game breaking to not lose your stuff. I have anxiety, losing stuff means I just don't play at all. Because I stress about losing everything. Conan Exiles has a drop nothing option. I enjoy it, I get the same thrill you do, but I'm also secure in the knowledge that 7 hours of collecting isn't lost because I got jumped from behind freaked out, panicked and died before my brain registered I was attacked. 7 Days is not friendly to people in my situation. The sad thing is when I bought into it. It specifically mentioned no drop on death and that was the selling feature for me. They dropped it and I uninstalled and decided they get nothing more from me.
Once your base is set up, you generally don't stray that far from your base anyway unless you've got a minibike, and if you have one, then its generally a good idea to set up a second one just in case you do die that far away.
Your stuff drops on the ground when you die and stays there pretty much forever. The
only time you lose stuff, is when the game GLITCHES out(Which did happen to me once in b113)
I personally play with toolbelt drop on death, simply because the act of reequiping everything on death is annoying, and if your backpack was already full, time wasting for no reason.
Your penalty for death is already there, your loss of wellness. Less wellness means you die more easily, so you lose more time getting back to where you where, your zombie stage lowers so zombies are easier and you get less loot from them.
Its also not a PITA to loot ur pack, with armor as u end up having to quicly put on clothes to free up space to get the rest of ur pack. Always annoying under pressure :)
seriously ? i have anxiety, panick attacks and agrophobia.losing stuff isn`t a problem to me as i know this is just a game. if it was rl then yea a totally different matter.
actually place a bedroll next to the minibike when you get off so if you die you don't have to make a new bike or go walking to where you died because you'll spawn right at the bedroll and minibike. then you pick up the bedroll before you get back on it. plus if the minibike has alot of high quality items u don't lose it. this is me because i hate having to walk so far to pick up a high quality bike. only time a second bike is necessary is if you got a second player and/or you built a tunnel underground and need to get from one side of the tunnel to the other.
