there is a post "Alpha 15.2 Is Out! 02.04.17
Hey Survivalist,
We’ve just released Alpha 15.2 with some critical fixes. For this and other news read on!
Concurrent Player records set
In January of 2017 we had our highest monthly concurrent player average of 12,833 players always on line and a concurrent peak of 22,977.
Alpha 16 update
Folks were trucking along with Alpha 16 work which could last through the end of March. Main planned features include: [...]"
Sure its fake site...
They never gave a release date....
They said they were doing work that could last thru the end of march. It could also last longer. Afterwards comes testing, bug fixing, etc.
They never said that A16 would be released in March or April for that matter.
The best estimate is its about 1-3 weeks away. Content is all done and its in bug fixing phase so depending on how long it takes to lock down the bugs determines when its released.
Definitely not months away, more like a matter of weeks.
What the hell are you on about? Where does that say a date that A16 is being released on?
haha you wish lets see .........
It's been the exact same timeline every alpha. Once it goes into content lock its a few weeks of bug fixing and then its up on experimental.
Until an alpha is content locked the dates are subject to change.
That's because they sucked at their jobs. If you were having a stroke, and the doctors just didn't fix it because, hey, they don't give deadlines for their work, this world would not function properly. Not producing, let alone showing videos of the updates having huge bugs after they have been working on them for 8 months is just... well, not good. This being ea is not the end all excuse for a poorly managed team.
Are you seriously trying to compare Health Care Workers to Game Developers? GTFO of here. Seriously.
Be lucky your even getting FREE content. They could optimize it, do a few bug fixes and call it complete, then charge you for DLC. But they decided to add content to an already fully playable game and keep adding content without making us pay for it unlike some EA games who want you to PAY for DLC before the game is even finished.
So either be patient and recieve a huge amount of content for FREE, or complain and have them just finish the game and make you PAY for DLC......unless you have more money than brains and want to buy DLC, then buy all means complain away........and if you have that much money, buy me something on my wishlist if you like spending money :)
Throwing more people at it does not make it go faster. It would slow them down due to the new people have to be brought up to speed. Like trying to make a fancy meal, adding more chefs in the kitchen does not make it cook any faster.
Not sure if Godwins law or reductio ad absurdum. But to way pick an awful simili.
TFP can take as long as thye like as far as I am concerned. I have enjoyed every update they have rolled out. The game can stay in alpha as long as they want as far as I am concerned.
