Am I the only one that has more issues with Tainted Bethany than Tainted Lazarus?
Not ranting... Just wondering if is it only me who thinks it's easier to keep up both versions of T. Laz. alive than to not get rid of all your wisps in a matter of 1 second :isaac:

yeah, because even if you never use her book, ever, she's still better than tainted laz

Yup. Regular Bethany is a pain in the ass because her wisps get destroyed in 2 hits and she can't get any soul hearts to protect her devil chance, but tainted Bethany is an upgraded ???. Her wisps aren't as fragile and she has no issues with devil deals.

She has all the same problems as Blue Baby with actually TAKING Devil Deals, but Angel Rooms have been buffed enough that you don't have to do that anyway.

She is honestly a really good characters to go devil deal route on, you take one deal to make sure they keep coming back and stack up as many charges of your book to use in the devil room and can usually get 2-4 devil deals per room.

delete her book, delete her blood charges, and she's still 10000000x better than tainted laz
she's probably the single most overpowered character in the game behind t.cain, while actually being fun.
remember that wisps draw from the current room's pool. a super fun thing to do is skip every treasure room until you get a planetarium, while also saving all your blood charges. And then unleash all your charges in the planetarium and enjoy dozens of free planetarium items!

Yeah, I'd much rather spend my brain power abusing Legemeton instead of dragging along an extra character that takes half my items.
