One of the hardest games ever?

This is probably the biggest challange in video games in a long time since Megaman and Demons souls.

Well megaman was never really difficult once I found out that certain shots countered eachother....

And Dark Souls levels? I'm not sure about that, but everyone has skills in certain types of video games and the lacking of in other types, most wouldn't say that this game is easy, it's certainly forgiving and fair.

dark souls and dark souls 2 are piss easy, its only hard in the early stages since you have absolutly no idea what you are doing.

Also..ninja gaiden...the originals....have you even seen how difficult those games are?

No. This game is not extremely hard. It's challenging but nothing serious. This is not Cave Story's Sacred Grounds

I actually meant to say demons souls but oh well lol but yea I been playing further it is not as hard as I thought it was at first. Still really fun though.

I died a decent amount of times, but I wouldn't call this game hard per say. Super Castlavania 4 kicked my butt far more than this game.

This game is diffucult in that if you were not born in the 80s, you are not used to Platformers. Its a different kind of skill than being good at 3d games, if you were rasied on platformers, this game is amazingly crafted to feel like it belongs in the past, in a very good way. I found it difficult, but beatable ( and New Game + was also challenging, but ultimately, repetition teaches you what you need to know )

I dont think the normal mode is really all that hard. Not any harder than any other nes game back then

I didn't find anything but the platforming 'challenging'. Although not even that was a big deal.
Dark Souls hard? No.
I beat this game in 6 hours. I collected all of the items, most of the music sheets, I bought all of the shovel upgrades, and even bought all of the armor sets in this amount of time.
I guess some people are more skilled in platformers than others. Plus, I haven't tried NG+ yet and that might kick my @$$.

Demons souls is the hard one lol Dark souls is easier compared. But yea I was born in the early 90s and played a lot of platformers in my time ;) and they still never get old.

Anyone that's played Spelunky, Super Meat Boy, etc. can tell you this is definitely not the hardest platformer out there. I'd say it's a good difficulty; not too hard, not too easy. Even if it were too easy, you have the option to smash checkpoints for profit.

Clearly you've never played Super Meat Boy , They Bleed Pixels , Tiny Barbarian , Volgaar (oh damn, no emote!), etc...

I'd say the difficulty in this game is just right.

Megaman wasn't that bad. It's the really older games, such as a couple Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles ones, ore I think it was also silver surfer was the hardest game of all time. I will say this though, this game has been quite a challenge for me, and I'm destined to get all achievements.
