Other players have in fact reported the same problem. I tried using 2 different controllers and it doesn't work either. I'm getting to a point where I consider using an external program to map the controls of the keyboards to my controller. You can't say it is a ''full controller support'' when it is not. I play with both of my controllers all the time as well just like Defected mentioned with no problem at all. I hope they plan on fixing this instead of releasing new patch with more language. Fix the controller issue first.

Not working on my end. Tried many times to get it working. Are you using Xbox one or Xbox 360 controller?

I am also using a Logitech F510 and I tried with a newer version (F310) and both aren't working.

I also just tested a F510 and it did not work (while the F710 did). Maybe something specific to some types of controller?

seems like it. So its not full controller support. Time to get a refund.

Alright, I've been able to play with my F310 by swtiching it do D mode instead of X (back of the controller). The game is awesome! But still, it shouldn't be listed as ''full controller support'' since it's hards to find a controller that actually works and you still need to tweak the controls a little bit to make everything work.

Having this problem too. Tried an xbox 360 and xbox one pad and both do not work with this game. Tried rebinding, unplugging and plugging back in and selecting/deselecting the option but nothing works. I really want to play this but not prepared to K&M so game is unplayable :(

Using an Xbox One controller, I can get face buttons to work but not the analog sticks. So it's definitely not just the OP who has this problem.

I'm trying to use a 360 controller as well, and it does not work for me either. Controller works fine in every other Steam game I try. FWIW, using Windows 8.1 64-bit.

Edit to add: Use Joystick is checked for me in the in-game options - doesn't appear to do anything on my setup.

Might be your missing the older version of direct x (X Input 1.3). Try installing this as it installs old versions of direct 8 which you do not get with Window 8. https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=35

I have a few 360/one controllers here and they all work on this game for me.
