Would you like to tell us stories of your good old days? What specific things do you miss? :)

Tezuni's prison break was a pretty prominent server for what felt like forever-- though I spent most of my gametime on City Roleplay. The jobs and economies in those servers were great to advance in. As well as the cops vs. robbers scenarios that propped up whenever someone decided to go on a rampage.

The Creeper gamemode is timeless, though during my time of playing (2015-2017, I believe) it was hosted rarely.

man, i miss the old pre-2012 days so much. ♥♥♥♥ hurts. it's nice to see another older player here. i saw creeper make some sort of attempt at revival in 2015 but it lacked all the charm ig with the maps that were included in the pre-v21 version (or it's just me)

Ah, yes, I heard a lot about those, but have only played the City Roleplays and builders out of those thus far. I liked the ones I played, but I mostly only started venturing into random public servers a few years ago and was mostly limited to friends' servers before that, so my experience was kind of limited. I often wonder what Creeper is even like. When I try to imagine it based on the limited descriptions I've seen, all I can come up with is that there are bricks that you can't touch and they somehow spread. Maybe it can be killed and maybe not. xD I like finding out about all the things that people like to do in Blockland. ^D^

You're pretty much right about Creeper-- it was inspired by the Creeper World games: where there's this liquid that floods your base, and you build these turrets that kills it. The Blockland gamemode had the same deal going on, but instead of being a turret-defense deal, players had these spray-cans that killed creeper blocks (though often the blocks regenerated/spread faster than you could kill it). The maps were tight and with many paths, so it was easy to get cornered/killed by creeper blocks if you weren't careful.

i remember the survival gamemode, my abolute favorite. The city roleplays were awesome, aswell as the military roleplays.

you mentioning that surivval gamemode reminds me of those old L4D2 weapons alongside that L4D-based gamemode

I remember finding a lot of L4D/Left4Block Add-Ons but I don't think I ever got to try any of the servers. That must have been fun too. :D

Joining Tezuni's prison escape after a day at school was like the highlight of my blockland career. I also loved turf wars, building my own base and just destroying anyone who came near. I remember that was my first time staying up past midnight as a kid. I was in the kitchen on my family computer and my sister came down to tell me to go to sleep. truly the good old days of gaming and I didnt even know it.

Wow, that's awesome! I don't remember my BLID right now, but I joined late in 2014 or maybe 2015. I think Maps was removed within a few months afterward if that helps pinpoint it...
