Untold Legends DLC - Testing your content

Some people seem to have problems entering the DLC content. Since the DLC content is integrated in the base game it might be hard to distinguish from the standard game.
So i will give an examples where a DLC quest can be found. If you can't find it there despite having the DLC please post your issue here so we can contact steam about it.

Ritual Grounds - In chapter 4 or 5, there should be a new location on the world map south of winneb that says "Ritual Grounds" and starts a fight on a dark map with nameless prophets and black ogres.

I have the DLC installed and looked through all my saves from chapter 3 till the point of no return in chapter 5, but the Ritual Grounds aren't there anywhere south of Winneb.

I will clean my installation and reinstall my game and restart with a new char to be on the sure side. EDIT: verified game cache, cleaned local cache and reinstalled, but still no Ritual Grounds with my old saves.

Please can you tell me if the "Ritual Grounds" as a world place will be visible (but not active) from the begin on when you first see the world map? Because it would be really bad for me to play through 3 chapters only to find out that I have to reinstall and restart all over again, because it's still not fixed. Or better, can you make at least 1 entry like the "Ritual Grounds" visible from chapter 1 on, so everybody can see that the DLC is correctly installed?

P.S.: Could you allow to preorder for Blackguards2 Early Access in advance ? (Witcher3 is already allowing preorder for 2015, but I'd rather finance BG2)

The Ritual Grounds World map location appears only in chapter 4 and 5. It should however transfer to characters that have been created without DLC. So completely reinstalling is a good idea but then you can check it with an existing savegame.

I reinstalled the game before i posted my first thread. That dont help. I kept the savegames, maybe thats a problem...
Anyway i m glad to see that this bug was noticed. :)

Btw: i can express myself more understandable in german

I played the game for the first time with the DLC installed (I installed the game and DLC days before ever playing it).

I cannot access any of the DLC quests and I am already in Chapter 4 (I have reunited the party after the fight with Lysander).

The ritual grounds does NOT appear south of Winneb.

I cannot get Myrtale to trigger (I have two saves after beating Lysander, one where I kept the painting and one where I gave the outcasts the painting, and there is no Myrtale quest for either). I also cannot get Fox Hunting or Slave Hunt quests to trigger although I believe I have visited all locations available up to chapter 3.

I bought the DLC after finishing the game. I replayed the last battle to get the necessary save game. I couldn't find any of the DLC-quests. Maybe it's important to say that I couldn't realize any downloading on steam after i bought the content, though it says the DLC is installed.

I reinstalled the game. Nothing changed. Help would be appreciated.

After reinstalling I wanted to test a new char development of an archer type. Went through 3 chapters and now ready to travel Mengbilla freely, but no new DLC places anywhere to be found and no "Ritual Grounds". Sorry to say.

As a buyer of the DLC I expect to have access to my content, even only buggy but at least some access and not no access at all. Please fix that ASAP, because that kind of thing is really awful to a reputation.

The developer said chapter 4 or 5; why did you only go to chapter 3 ? I'm very confused by this thread - everyone who complains say they go to chapter 3. Aren't they suppose to go to chapter 4 or 5 to find the DLC ?

Not EVERYONE who complained reached chapter 3, I'm in chapter 4, just as I said in my previous post. Zetachron said in his first post he is in Chapter 5.

As a matter of fact, going through the posts, it would seem that exactly NO ONE has only made it to chapter 3.

Zetachron is replaying, and hasn't found any DLC content yet, but still has saves for later chapters.

And I'm pretty sure there are DLC quests in chapter 3, even though I can't access those either.

same here. i replayed the entire game and checked everywhere. i cant find any DLC content AND i went through the bother of reinstalling the entire game and whipping the saves. feeling a tad bit frustrated. i have no idea what to do.

Alright. Please look if there even is a folder called Addon in the installation directory of the game, and send an email to [e-mail] with a short description of your problem and the output_log.txt file from the Blackguards_Data subfolder attached.

Now that's a way to quickly see if something is wrong. Looking into directory Steam/steamapps/common/Blackguards/ reveals a Blackguards_Data folder with the output_log.txt inside, but no Addon folder.

Steam game properties tells me the DLC is installed though.

Same here. Already sent the file off by email several hours ago. Hopefully it will be an easy fix.

Ok, we got your mails. Just for the record, did you allready try do delete all local game files (Savegames won't be deleted) and completely redownload the game?
