I can't be the only one who sometimes wonders how the game would look like in first person or if it has a similar camera perspective like Super Mario 64, right?

It's most likely not going to happen but that would be kinda cool. One can only dream! :WL_Happy:

Using WeMod, there is a reason they didn't include first-person into the game. It culls out everything except the ground, the characters, workbench, and chests

That's what I thought. In Animal Crossing it's the same thing with the houses.
What a shame. I guess we can only imagine it. :D

I had a feeling the fixed camera angle meant there was culling like that going on. But is it possible to simply move the camera higher? I came up with a way to extend the horizontal view through letterboxing but just raising the camera would help a lot.

You can see pop in of the loaded just using default, If they added free camera and things alike they are gonna have to change what loads in at what time or your gonna have void spaces and glitchs like you describe, That will also boost the specs needed to run it because now need more mem/cache.
