That said, I find her survivability too lacking to make her really useful.
Also, just as with Skroig, I find the lack of a third item slot too much of a downside, that hasn't been made up for with anything else.
I would not pick her for my team.
Skroigs two problems: 1. He dies instantly in a heavy fight. 2. He's not a wit hero.
Yay! :)
While you're at it, the entire hero roster needs a balancing pass.
If I want a scout, I'm taking Max over any other hero. Aftershave makes it a complete no-brainer, but even without, that dust bonus is too good.
If I want someone to kite or fight, I'm taking Troe. He also doubles as a scout if I don't have Max, thanks to scamper. He is so much better than any other hero at fighting and kiting that it's absurd.
For a wit hero I suppose it's debatable, but I'll take OpBot for Master Hacker, speed, general combat effectiveness, and really good skills.
I guess the question is, why would I ever pick Gork as my fighting hero over Troe? Why Chef Nanor? No reason. No benefit.
I kind of wish smg users had a higher range. It makes it useless when they have to slowly waltz over to an enemy to actually hit them. It might balance this out a slight amount. I mostly keep Gork as a sort of odd tank.
