Ferrari DLC?
Wasn't it meant to be a DLC Ferrari pack on nfs shift?
Even on the Need For Speed website (http://www.needforspeed.com/shift) there is a pic from inside a ferrari???

Awesome game, but would love to be able to drive ferrari as well!!

Ah, okay thanks.
To bad!!

but you can still download them for PC if you google it :)

From the point where you have just installed Shift:

1. Install the Shift 1.02 patch for your region

2. Extract the "Shift unpacker" (google it) to your Shift folder and run shiftunpackpc.bat. Wait 30-60 minutes for this to complete. Why? Because you need to "unpack" your game to be able to add content to it.

3. Install JSGME to your Shift folder, run JSGME.exe from your Shift folder. (It is a "mod enabler") Allow it to create a "MODS" folder inside your Shift folder.

4. Download the QuadCoremax base Shift DLC package 1.55 Full (see links below).

5. Extract all the contents of the zip file to EA GAMES\shift\mods\

6. Go back to JSGME, select DLC_Pack_By_QCM_Full_1.55, click the right arrow to install it as an active mod.

7. Locate your Shift shortcut (create one from the main game .exe if you dont have one) and update your Shift shortcut to run with the -loose command line parameter by right-clicking it, going to properties and then in the "shortcut" tab, like so in the target field:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Need for Speed SHIFT\SHIFT.exe" -loose

that's it , now you will. have all the new cars (17, ten of which are ferraris)

the thanks for this tutorial must be for the guy of NO GRIP forum

Found these downloadlinks, I think the car DLC is more up to date (v155 against v147) and apparently there was an exotic track DLC as wel.
The downloadsite sucks however so you are warned.

Works for me though, use the nogrip link posted above by Silver for installation instructions.

Yes the site sucks, but still works also in 2020! Thanks a lot for this guide! The original isn't available anymore.
There's a site to download the DLC (with steps), since NoGripRacing site isn't working (at least to me):

Did everything as described, but the game won't start. Won't start with " -loose" line in target, but it starts without " -loose", but the game just loads and loads... I waited 7 minutes for the race to load, nothing happened, just loading screen. Theoritically I did everything as described, step by step. I'm thinking on uninstall and redo everything.

Yeah, having the same problem. I unpacked everything and added the content to my MODS folder. Whenever I use the application in my folder, I get an error saying: "Application Load Error: 5:0000065434". If I launch the one from desktop, the game starts, but it stays on a black screen
It works great! However with the batch file, the cars from Team Racing Pack are invincible and the game crashes if there's an AI with a car from that DLC

Are there any tools to repack the game? All i see is there are tools to unpack them, but theres none for repacking?

The version of the game on Steam is 1.0.2.0, which means that you do not need to install the patch 1.2.0! This patch (1.2.0) is only for physical copies!

Do I need to delete my existing load file for the mods to show up, because I've tried everything and mods just aren't loading.

I don't believe so. But to be honest it's not worth it, there are no new events, just the cars
