Password:The Value is Missing
I wanted to play the multiplayer but when I try to make an account, it says, "Password:The Value is Missing." There is nothing I can do the make the message go away. Has anyone had the problem? Is there a way to fix this. There is nothing on the internet about this. I've even tried putting in the key code. Nothing works. But right now, I can't play the multiplayer.

UPDATE: Apparently I had an old account that I made for The Sims 3. Through gesswork alone I was able to sign in. I still don't know what's going on with the "Password:The Value is Missing."

Same here. Can't bypass it. After the PhysX problem I get this. Uninstalling.

Ditto.. I'm searching for a solution everywhere. If I have to call EA till I finally get ahold of a competent person, I'll keep doing so.

First go to ea.com and find your legacy username - usually associated with the Sims
Then try going to pogo.com and recover your password by logging with your legacy username.

Disclaimer: the multiplayer might not work its 2019 afterall

Good luck

I have the same issue with multiplayer not working. I've been to EA's website to set up my account email and password but nothing will get multiplayer to work at all. Same message: "Password...the value is missing!" Another EA disappointment.

The multiplayer does work. You just need an EA classic login from way back when..

To anyone who reads this and wondering why you can't create an user

The registration process no longer works because the game uses a very old system of how you register your user. I believe it was around 2008 when they updated the registration process for their newer titles until origin came out

This issue also happens in NFS Carbon. It will keep telling you that you have an "invalid password" And as far as I know, medal of honor & carbon are the only ones that uses this "legacy registration process" that are still online

So if you don't have a user from back then from any of their old games, both online and shut down now games, you're out of luck sadly. I don't see EA fixing this ever. Multiple people reported the bug when it was first discovered with Carbon, and it was never fixed. It's been a year since registrations broke for both games

Well paxy, that's mostly true..
However, for those of us that have a login, it still works - which means.. the server is still out there. It's all a matter of.. ahem.. obtaining access to it.. but I do believe that would be a way to create new user accounts. EA and their useless tech support is apparently incapable of locating said server and help us out..

I just hope it can be fixed one day.
