That game has a downed state. You are put on a timer to simulate bleeding out. But there is a small chance that you COULD exit the downed state on your own without dying.
That's wrong, comas in gray zone are caused by low blood levels, if your blood drops below half you go into a coma. It has nothing to do with where you are hit.
Wrong. I've gone into a coma with more than 4000 Blood left. As soon as my organ damage was fixed, I was back up. I think there's a chance you can go into a coma from any major hit, not just blood loss.
true shoots fired on vital area = instant coma or death

Im the medic in our team always first your heal stuff must be in your vest or pockets to heal other player. Use bandages to stop bleeding then surgery kit and then give them blood if needed.
That mechanic is one of the reasons that I dislike DayZ combat.
It takes the skill out of the game. It turns into a game of who saw who first. You shoot them, knocks them down. I enjoy games more when I have an opportunity to respond to being spotted. When I have an opportunity to potentially return fire.
You will get knocked out in DayZ and still be white health and white blood. That mechanic is far too excessively applied in that game.
I got my info from there, typical gaming site, inaccurate as usual.
