Can you play this without the rhythm?
So my friend got the Zelda spinoff of this game, and we had a blast with it, but we played through with the "auto mode" or whatever it was that didn't force us to try and play with the music. We were basically able to enjoy it as a more standard Roguelike.

I was wondering if the same is possible in this game. Or do you need to have good timing for it?

You definitely can, but only as 1 of the characters whose innate ability is not having to follow the rhythm.

Oh, that's kind of disappointing. So no "easy mode" for the musically stupid? :p

You can cheese it by playing Co-op mode and having Bard (the character mentioned by Lord Gek) as one of the characters. However, this would disable most achievements, I think. The story cutscenes for the main characters would still play though.

Yeah i really wish this was a thing. I can't hear the music so have to rely on the heartbeat at the bottom of the screen, but staring at that, i can't see what's happening to my character! I'm surprised there isn't a mod for this. Or at least an easier way to visually do it to accommodate people that can't hear it

It's a shame the Zelda version probably won't make it to PC.
