I am on the fence on getting this game. With my hardware being 2080, and an 8700k. 2hrs is barely enough time to get a proper performance assessment.

GPU usage average 90%
CPU usage is around 50%-70%

No jet engine sound from my pc.

After 10 minutes of playing, driving around, interacting with other Zois, I can say its playable, its the most minimum graphic but still better than Sims 4 ngl.
No crashes or massive lag so far, but also don't expect it to be smooth and the Zois are really at minimum quality unlike what you see at demo, but i'm still able to enjoy the game and its really playable. This is just a 10 minutes gameplay review.

8GB is required for SmartZoi AI features to work as the AI model takes 1GB of VRAM.

The actual graphics should work with 6GB of VRAM if SmartZoi is never turned on.

Probably the first game my trusty 1080 can’t run.
Perhaps it’s time for a change.

Even my RTX 3060 with 12GB VRAM was not capable of getting decent performance at low settings on this game's demo. It's mainly due to UE5 being a garbage engine along with lack of optimization in general.

Can you list this so called "majority of new" games that require more than 6GB VRAM?

Because I never had any issues with my old GTX 1660 6GB VRAM on modern games, the only issues I had was always with UE5 3D games performing like garbage which even my RTX 3060 with 12GB VRAM is not capable of fixing the lack of optimization of the game.

Try any graphically intensive AAA release from 2023-2024 on ultra

just set the textures on mid/high, that'll do. I use ultra for 8g though, works fine for me

A 3060TI is only about $349 right now!

Tempting, but I’m not sure.
Maybe I should save up and go all the way.

Pretty sure all these games are perfectly playable on 60fps with a 1080, just not on the higher settings.
