Fixed: Ted's Storyline bug -- Witch does not appear

I have been able to play through all of the other character's storylines except for Ted's. When I get through the maid's dialogue (and fix the stove and ask repeatedly for a mirror etc) then exit to the main room, the shadows in the chapel doorway never appear.

If you found the magic circle then more books appear on the witch's bookshelves I believe. also be sure to go back to ellen's room to check on her several times.

still no witch

edit: reading the book at the master's bedroom triggered the witch at chapel event

I had the same problem. My problem was I did not find the masters room and read his books. It is not obvious, but there is a second door in the entry room by the suit of armor. I needed to enter his bed room and read his books (most notably his journal) before the witch would appear.

For those using the walkthrough, I found the solution.
There is apparently a "Master's bedroom" to the upper left in the main room, almost completely hidden. Entering that room and reading from the bookshelf there fixed the problem for me.
