Ellen Gem Bug

I know, I know - another bug. (This game is brilliant, but its really REALLY unstable)

I got to the part in Ellen's chapter where you have to remove a gem from a statue with a pair of forceps. I tried it and it didn't work. I tried it wearing the blindfold, but it still didn't work. I tried looking at the statue, then looking at the gem, then going to take the gem, then putting on the blindfold, then using the forceps with the gem. Nothing happened (and yes, I tried all those again without putting the blindfold on)

I know whats supposed to happen because I gave up and read a walkthrough when I got stuck. And even if I didn't read the walkthrough, the signs were all there telling me that I needed to find a gem identical to the one inside the statue. So why. Won't. She. DO IT!

I hope I don't have to restart...because I saved Ellen till' last. I suppose this'll teach me for not making multiple saves.

Don't use the foreceps on the gem. The foreceps are for use with the Anubis statue. Put the blindfold on and then take the gem from the yellow artifact statue. :> Sorry that this response is so late!

IT WORKED! (though, I swear I tried to take the gem wearing the blindfold before, but nevermind)
