Ellen + Anubis problem

Hey everyone. Just have a problem. In Ellens scenario, I can't get Anubis to give me the passcode. I've taken the ROM chip and sapphire, put them into the left machine, reprogrammed it to its new master (sucker, it's me!) but when I put the chip back in anubis, he just says I have to confront my past.

How do I get around this?

I am having the same problem too. Everything that I have seen is that in order to fix that you have to look at the sarcophagus and then talk to him again and it should work. But of course that didn't work for me. I am in your same situation too. Can't play the game until they get this bug fixed...

I managed to get it working. Here is what I did:

1. Take the chip out of Anubis
2. Go back to the left monitor, put the chip in and make yourself master
3. Go back, put the chip in but do not talk to Anubis
4. Look at the sarcophagus, then look at the keypad.
5. Talk to Anubis (the option should come up)

It's dumb the way you have to do it and i'm pretty sure it is still a little bit bugged....

I had this problem too. You need to actually try and open the sarcophagus not just look at it. Simply try "using" it. The game will tell you it is locked. Then talk to Anubis and a "How do I open the Sarcophagus?" conversation line should be available.

It didn't work for me either but upon following the advice from Beer Maven in the comment underneath Robin's, it worked for me:

It's been a few days since your comment but I hope it's helped/you found an alternative way to get the passcode from Anubis! :)
