2. Other characters besides Nimdok can extend the bridge. (Ted and Ellen for sure, not certain on how to trigger this but it has happened. They will say "What was it that Nimdok said about remembering 1945?" when entering the bridge control room, and it will become available as a password)
3. Each pillar pertains to one character. If you deactivate a pillar, you will take less damage from the shocks received throughout the level. They are not necessary to deactivate even if you want the good ending.
4. No, but if your barometer is white it means you are at maximum health and can take several shocks before death.
5. Before you can interact with/disable the ID, Ego, or Superego you must be instructed to disable the Ego.
