We would probably see the mobile game go through some turmoil as he fights with the mobile devs and the Korean company.
It would be cool to see the non-mobile game rollback, but I really really don't think Mike is the guy that should be running a company.
Also there are no 'new owners', the IP was always owned by Autumn Games from the start. Development is now being handled by Hidden Variable and Future Club, but ownership rights never changed hands, which is why this lawsuit would not affect that.
He didn't seem to be in good terms with the team after all.
More than likely this is the case. Also, I would imagine that it would be hard for Mike to do anything without Ahad on board as well.
More than likely, they're both tired of the whole hullabaloo as well and want nothing to do with the franchise any more. It's a dark chapter in their past, and they probably don't want to get back to it.
Mike Z case was never about Skullgirls IP.
Mike never owned the SG IP.
Autumn Games has owned the SG IP since it became a video game.
Whether Mike Z wins or loses, it'll have no effect on the Skullgirls IP.
Mike Z doesn't seem to be the kind of guy that does things because of spite.
Mike has a new job with new projects. Probably already forgot about Skullgirls the game. But not his lawsuit of course.
Just like Alex and Peter already moved on.
There's something to think about.
Mike, Alex and Peter have moved on.
Why can't other people, who haven't even been involved in the development of the game? There are a LOT of other games to play on Steam. No point in obsessing over this one....
And thinking that Mike wouldn't be petty is pretty funny all things considered.
Read the main post.
Even Tan started by explaining what would happen, saying he would be fine with it, which I disagree due to the state of their relationship.
