PS3 has performance issues and has not been supported since the 2017 balance patch. That means it doesn't have the new DLC or more recent balance patches.

I think the other reason for that one is that while it's a ubiquitous symbol, it's also the official logo for the organization "The Red Cross" and they don't want video games using their logo.

I read that Halo ran into issues over this exact thing.

Just remembered about the CMOS issue the PS4 had (idr if the PS3 ever had an update addressing it) before an update fixed it. Essentially if the CMOS failed the console was forced to have an online check. Obviously a minor nuance, similar to the Xbox online check for games before running them, but keep in mind Sony had originally planned to shut down services for the platform.

Partially a reason for suggesting the Vita version since it's portable and not subject to that problem since you can just move stuff around via computer or cartridge.
