I used this for the game:
download_depot 245170 245171 2462631669275661615
...and this for the Compendium:
download_depot 245170 1549100 4726539459544032455
Feel free to double-check that stuff, because it's possible I copy-pasted those wrong :D
I think the whole thing is silly, really.
It belies insecurity on the part of the developers, moreso than any offense taken by society.
I'm not aware of anyone who was "most affected" by the imagery in the game.
Some poster on the Skullheart forums literally said "It's not censorship if it's actively content that hurts innocent people!" LOL.
I'd love to see empirical evidence of this game actually going out and harming folks, HA. Ludicrous mental backflips always make me chuckle.
Just for an update, the Compendium one is the censored one. You want
download_depot 245170 1549100 4887540463681641543
Any chance on bringing back the Soviet announcer?
MikeZ himself said the sonicfox textures were left in a space that wouldn't be checked/verified for online play in case people wanted to remove them; who knows if voicepack reversions/additions are considered protected files or not. if you never hear from me ever again i either failed gave up or forgot to update you lol
