Tier Lists, Characters, and Big Band

What characters would be generally ranked as good or bad in this game? I know that lots of people play Peacock and Double online, but I also heard Eliza is good too. I also don't get the meme about solo Big Band. My friend plays solo Big Band and everytime he does somebody clowns on him about it. Also, is Fillia considered okay? She's my favorite

There's still no consensus on tiers for the final patch. We've had top 8s where every character was represented. I recommend searching the VOD database, you can look up specific team compositions and take notes.[tunawithbacon.com]

Solo Band is considered a meme simply because there always seems to be a zillion of them on Quick Match. And the stereotype is that they're all laggy as hell. It's just memes though, don't take it too seriously.

Tier Lists shouldn't even be a thing, its just how well you play the character. Fillia is fun

No game ever has been and no game ever will be flawlessly balanced. It's an inevitability for any asymmetric game. You can only hope that the gap is small enough to not matter much, which seems to be the case based on our understanding of 2E+'s meta.

The joke about Big Band is that his raw power and wide hitbox moves make him a magnet for newer players who just mash those to try and win without realizing or caring how huge of a target he is for most moves. Hes not a bad character at all he just tends to get used by a lot of bad players (Cerebella had this issue pretty bad pre Big Band too and still does to some degree). Hes actually pretty alright solo if you know how to use him right but I always find him working much better on teams. Its just a meme though so dont take it to heart like the above says.

Filia is fine in general, I prefer Fukua more but they dont really play the same to me at all.

Without consideration for specific teams, Fukua seems to be rated generally the highest due to her flexibility, but not enough to really matter.

The general consensus seems to be to pick whoever your favorite character is, pick assist(s) that support her and you have a top tier team.

Back in the 2E patch Fukua was definitely top tier, but I'm not so sure about Newkua now.
