Any sorters that may block the line?
No, I didn't put in any sorters.
It's just a collector that sends a network of pipes in a cargo ship, but from the cargo ship to the ship (so with pistons, it doesn't work without any reason, I've looked at various forums before and nobody seems to have had a problem with it.
Would make identifying possible problems a lot easier.

here we can see, my pipes, it is connected to small conveyors, these are connected on one side to the piston and on the other side to the cargo, the cargo receives the goods, but the goods do not pass through the vehicle.
The cargo receives the goods, but the goods do not pass through the vehicle. However, in the other screens we can clearly see the piston fixation, the heads which are correctly installed and the fusion block which is functional.
This however has the downside that you would have to grind down one of the heads to disconnect them again.
In your situation I would use connectors for docking instead.
However, the merge block merges (I placed one over the piston of the vehicle and the other over the other piston, they separate easily without having to remove them and once the vehicle approaches him and the platform melts one more, there, the piston locks I tried to launch both at the same time it stops correctly
They are still separate grids without a connection to each other.
I just link a random screenshot from the community hub to show how docking with a connector looks like:

And I already know the connector system but it's a mineral transporter, I didn't want to make a big connector when normally a piston would be enough...
But then, let's imagine that I'm facing a piston that joins another piston on the same platform (the no vehicle they are on the same plate it's supposed to work right?).
because I wanted to test and even that doesn't work, so what's the use of the piston?
First grind down the merge blocks that are there, than extend the pistons.
Now build merge blocks on the piston heads (not the piston base), and merge them.
Now you should be able to move cargo, but you will have to use a grinder to seperate them again.
You may get away using an advanced rotor for docking but when you want a cargo connection your choices are limited.
This will give you the easiest possible time merging two piston heads to each other though as said above you cant disconnect them once merged. Id recommend you put small connectors on the piston heads and not worry about merging at all.
Either use the oversized small grid connector that is vanilla or use

Use connectors. They're already in game, and will provide full ability to transfer power and items.
The merge block is really not needed with a connector, so that's some space/mass saved.
I forgot small grid does not allow to build the merge block on piston heads without an additional conveyor.
In order to connect a piston head without mods you would have to do something like this:
