From Update 01.133 on, the game will need Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.1 to run. All dedicated server admins should update their .NET installations.

If the .Net 4.6.1 and SP1 update won't run, then your Win 7 install is probably corrupted and needs to be reinstalled anyway, also you're Win 7 boot partition needs to be the primary or only drive attached when you run the update.

You were aware that you were buying an unfinished product, right? Space Engineers is still in early access. You dont have the right to ask for a refund.

i have tried several times to download the new .net and it keeps saying having a pre download warning that says that i need to download Windows Modules Installer service but i cant seem to find it any where on the internet. Please help. i just want to play space engineers again it also keeps saying "perameter is incorrect"

If ther is one thing to say about microsoft, it is that pretty much every program still works after updating, and i cannot imagine the new .net version only being released for the latest versions of the windows os.

Thats what the community told others with the NET problem.
After they reactivated there windows update, all worked.
So, try it or not.
