If the conveyor junction is in the wall, then no, it shouldn't leak.

no Hinges, rotors, blast door blocks as part of the walls?

There are many reasons for no air tightness, some blocks have partial air tightness and maybe that face of the block is allowing the outside in, could be a block is misaligned light having 2 slope blocks that from a visual inspection should cover each others opening but doesn't.

Depending on your view on mods this one can help sniff out those leaks.

I just light a fart when I'm cold, except when I'm wearing my space suit.

Hi, some "mechanical" blocks are not airtight but I can tell it's always a slope block the problem for me so double check those first / replace with cube to test.

You may create "testing copy" set creative mode to find the leak faster and go fix the original save when solution found in the copy.

How to create a testing copy :

1 - Select your save.
2 - Click the "Save as" button on the left.
3 - Change the save name to create a copy.
4 - Load the copy in creative mode to test.

So I build a total sealed off cube and locked myself inside and yet nothing changed I was still getting the freezing effect

Have you added a O2/H2 Gen + Air vent to heat the room?

Maybe just share your save here if you can't find the solution, I will load and feedback the solution here.

Air vent worked but I still have fog inside my base?
Dan2D3D  [developer] Feb 28, 2022 @ 7:47am
No Oxygen system = no Heat

-> so we must add a O2/H2 Gen with ice in and a air vent connected to it to add heat and oxygen to the room.

Fog can't be removed, well we have to disable Weather feature or build underground, the Weather effects stop at a specific depth.

ah I see well thank you for the help

Yeah you needed an air vent to solve the heat/o2 problem, as for fog that will never not be a problem, it could be just a cube of armour or even 100m down in the ground and fog will persist, thats a buggy game thing they can't seem to work out. Disable weather to remove the issue.
