need help with a mod please

i have installed Build info mod ( and text API )
but i can not get the TEXT above my player inventory bar to show "Backpack 2250 / 3250 L "
or when i am in a ship "Container 5250 / 42500 L "
How do i get this to work ?
no one seems to be able to help me with this

Hi, I don't use Mods much, aslo never used "Build info" but I always find more info/clues by reading the item description, subscribers comments and the created discussions on the item page (if there is), so that is a thing I recommend to do for your first testing on the Mod you want to play with.

Or, ask the Mod author on his item page.

A member using that Mod may see your dicussion here and post in a solution, hopefully and asking the Mod author will give you more chances at finding a solution.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but -
1. open Chat (default <Enter>)
2. press <F2>
3. click on MOD SETTINGS
4. click on BuildInfo
5. Click HUD
6. select Backpack Bar Override: ON

Should show you the volume of your backpack above the Toolbar

i do now, but i kinda dont want to use a modified HUD.
just want the standard one.

Should work fine with the vanilla HUD; it was designed with that in mind. Modified HUDs generally just rearrange/colorize/enhance the existing vanilla. I use a modded HUD and the BuildInfo mod works fine

( i prefer to keep the standard UI ( HUD )

Test in a new save with only the BuildInfo mod and Text HUD API mod loaded. Make sure you are using the normal BulidInfo mod, not the Bleeding Edge build

yes i have that mod and Text hud api, but i do not get the text "Backpack 250 / /1350 L "
But i will test it again

I was wrong about the HUD mod. Seems to only display that additional info if you have a HUD mod loaded. I was using Norca's Engineering HUD along with BuildInfo and TextHUD API. Sorry for the misinformation
