Despite some interesting bits, the overall impression was negative: 1) After a lengthy intro, I am dumped into a battle with little to no guidance and no mouse-over tips. Amazing!

This is so bloody good! The lore is quite unique and interesting, story is really intriguing, and the art style is just magnificent! Title song was beautiful too, was not expecting the language, I'd guess Polish or Ukrainian, right? I have to admit, the lack of voice acting is a bit disappointing though, but I understand how it might not be possible for an indie team. And initially, I felt that combat is a bit simplistic, but I think it grew on me as new mechanics were introduced, esp the Ancest...

Typewriter text... and demo impression.

Way too much yapping, not enough actual gameplay in the first bit and due to the HUGE amount of text I became annoyed with the CONSTANT typewriter text displaying one letter at a time. It's faster than it is in most games but I read faster than it displays so it's annoying for me. Just show me all the words at the same time and let me click once to get to the next bit of the conversation.
