Trade Sheep

It's been quite awhile since I played Banished, and in my new game I bought some trade sheep. I seem to have forgotten how to use them, though- I build them a pasture, but can't put them in it. Can somebody remind me how to prep trade animals as livestock?

Once you have the Pasture you need to assign the livestock type. They should then trundle off from the Trade Post to the Pasture.

Remember, trade sheep will not give you mutton or wool. They are strictly for trade. Once they reach their maximum number in the pasture you can then put them in the trading post and they are worth a whopping 250 coins.

Nah, the pasture would NOT take the trade sheep, so I sold them, got regular sheep, all is well. I wanted the wool, anyway.

i thought the comment about trade sheep was just being humorous but I guess you really had some kind of trade sheep versus regular sheep?

was that from a mod or vanilla Banished?
