Verdun
Please help Tech issue [FIXED]
Ive just bought Verdun and downloaded it, i launched the game and after i saw 3 soliders in a loading screen it crashed.
The game keeps updating over and over again, with nothing?
Everytime i try launch it says
error while updating verdun (missing executable)
Ive followed a guide on youtube to allow it on firewall, (was not the issue)
Ive clean installed it
Restarted pc
It keeps giving me
An error occurred while updating Verdun (Corrupt Content files):
C:/Programs files (86)/steam/steamapps/common/ww1gameseries/ww1 game series.exe
Ive also tried verifying the game files...
Nothing works please help or ima just refund it...

It avast!
Im now trying to stop avast from blocking it, but still dont know how
Can't right click on the files that are quarantined and add them as exceptions / into the whitelist?

Edit: Looked it up and you can restore the files from the 'Virus Chest' by right clicking on the file and then selecting the Extract option, select the WW1GameSeries folder [and wherever the second file was from] in order to save/return the file(s).

P.S. I was going to suggest disabling these Intel Modules as they've been known to mess with file privileges. (Causing Content Locked errors and such.)

When you cleanly (re)installed the game, did you restart your PC after or before you uninstalled the game?

In the Local Files, everything appears to be there in the WW1 Folder?

Like: WW1GameSeries_Data and WW1 Game Series.exe, steamappid, etc.

Hrm, yeah. I've forwarded this to the Devs to see if they have any insights. (Jeez, I'm blind. Spaced on the missing execute)

Is there anything inside of the LocalLow LogFile shortcut though actually? (If you open the File Location, that would take you to where Crash Folders are saved. See below.)

When you first downloaded/installed the game, it didn't run into any errors? (Disk Write, Content Locked, etc.)

Also, when the game crashed, was there a message saying a Crash_2018-05-30-XXXX folder was created?

Where to find Crash Folders

The .exe is missing, is an antivirus maybe deleting it?

When i first downloaded the game everything was fine, i DL'd 2.9gb no problems, launched the game, saw 3 soliders Then is just vanished almost like it was minimized or alt f4'd. No errors, nothing. I thought how strange. Relaunched the game and started running into errors.
The folder you asked for: https://imgur.com/a/FFWDJz2
