Don't have money for a new card, how well will this game run on a Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti?

I have:
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)
AMD A8-7600 Radeon R7 (3100 Mhz)
8GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 (2GB RAM)

I use 1024x768 screen size and most things set high (but not max). I don't get 60fps, but do get above 30fps. I'm happy with that.
set everything to meduim and some low and you should get decent fps and only few lag here and there

For me, getting 60fps is not a great concern. I'm happy with how it plays and find I don't suffer from lag.

Everyone has their own personal 'acceptable' level. Mine has never been to achieve 60fps - I have only recently(ish) upgraded from a PC where I used to play on 800x600 with everything low and still not even achieve 30fps so I'm more than happy I can now play games using higher graphics level settings.

i just built a new machine with core i7 6700 4.0ghz, 32gb ram, GTX 1060, and just tried playing this game and while at times i maintain 30fps in the jungles n what not it drops to 17-20 fps unplayable IMO im reading that disabling V-sync and enabling Triple buffering in NV cntrl panel would improve performance, as well as completely disabling physX. But seems far fetched for a game this Old to run so poorly on new hardware, shows they released it and never optimized it in the least bit and the game itself is still Very broken.

Triple buffering is Vsync; turn it off in both the game and Nvidia Control panel and see if it improves.

I got a 750Ti 2GB, running the game with a G3258 @ 4.3Ghz, 6gb of ram, 720p normal-high settings, and I'm getting 45-60 fps. To me this is very playable, since the game is in third person.

I have a GTX 1070, 16 GB RAM, and an i7 6700K. It ran terribly on my PC because it's a bad port. However after turning off Vsync and the Phys X particles on low (I recommend you turn them off) I was getting 60 FPS (which is the max) on 1080p and 2K with every other setting maxxed out. Apparently there's an issue with the Phys X particles which is causing problems for some people. This doesn't happen to everyone but if it happens to you, then this is what to do.

I'm noticing issues, maybe it's because of the new Pascal architecture? Not that there is a problem with the Pascal architecture, the game may need to patch to run effienciently with the new hardware structure. Why did you call the game a port? Every game is designed directly into a computer first, before it ever hits a console. That includes exclusives... Gears of War, Halo, even Nintendo games are created through computers first.

My hate is that I'm having to go through the Ubisoft application just to play it. I have the retail disc version. I bought it because it was $7 plus shipping ($14 total) while it's $19.99 on consoles and $29.99 on Steam, if I'm correct.

its the game itself its not the Newer GPU's. the Game itself is a complete Garbage port. the only way people are getting stable fps is by turning off V-sync and PhysX altogether. There is 0 reason what so ever that a 3+yr old game should dip below 20fps on 1060/1070/1080 gpus.. The game was broken when it was released, and the team did nothing to patch or fix performance over time, they just kept churning out AC title after AC title. Also games are devloped on a SDK with the Console architecture, while games are designed On computers yes.. they are developed and programmed around console architectures... and PC is always getting terrible ports that the devs just think, well they'll be able to power through it with hardware eventually.

I agree, developers need to focus that the game they just release needs to be repaired. Personally, I would have done strenuous beta testing within the studio before selling. I'm tired of the 'sell then patch' approach.

I dont know if it still helps you but..I have
Intel Core I3 2120 3.30 GHZ
GTX 750 TI OC 2 GB DDR5
8 GB DDR3
And I get around 40-45 fps on 1080p and everything set to High.

when u play set some low textures such as low texture shadows and stuff like that and ur frames should be better

I have received my Zotac Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB and the results are in for the game settings I have chosen:

Environment Quality: Very High
Texture Quality: High
Anti-Aliasing Quality: TXAA 2X (TXAA 4X Dips GPU Under 30fps)
Shadow Quality: Very High
Reflection Quality: High
Motion Blur: Off (Hate This Feature)
Ambient Occlusion: HBAO+ High
God Rays: High
Volumetric Fog: On
vsync: Off

FPS 40 ~ As long as it stays at this level of smoothness, I am very pleased with this card's performance. :steamhappy:
