Unlock new areas of map

I can't start a single mad man because that area of the map is not unlocked in this current memory. It's the next mission in the story line so what do I do to unlock it?

Not sure what you mean by 'mad man' ?

If it's story progression then you should be able to go to the 'memory start' point. Don't try to jump ahead by sailing to some point. Let the game guide you through its memory process.

The name of the quest is: ' A Single Madman'
I have to sail there to get to the quest. I can't sail there because that area of the map isn't avalible in this current memory.

There doesn't seem to be anything guiding me. The quest before it ended, then I tried to continue to this one by sailing to it ( the only way to get there) and I can't get there
