No sound when using Ps5 controller
When I plug my headphones into my ps5 controller there is no audio, and it's just this game. Everything else plays sound just fine (I have the audio output set to my controller in windows audio settings). Any solutions?

You must have forgotten to login to your alt account to post, seeing as you're posing as someone else and answered your own question. That, or you have a terrible case of Split Personality Disorder. Jeesh.

DS5 has a speaker, make sure your sound settings haven’t changed to make the DS5 your audio output device.

Your computer is changing the PS5 controller to the default sound device when you connect it. Connect the PS5 controller, then ensure your headset/speakers are the default audio output device, then the game will output audio.

Start menu -> mmsys.cpl

Well if you wanna be a weirdo, go digging through my post history and you'll see I do that a lot. Mostly when I'm a few beers deep. I find it funny for some reason. Now begone.

Maybe I didn't explain it right, but I WANT the sound to go through the controller. You can plug headphones into the bottom of it and the sound works fine for everything, music, videos, etc., except this game for some reason. My pc is too far away for my headphones to reach so it's more convenient for me to plug them into the controller. My Xbox controller plays sound fine when I connect my headphones to it but I like the ps5 controller better with this game.

Well I figured it out, I'll post the solution here just in case anybody else has this problem. The issue was that even though I was connecting my controller via usb cable and had never once connected it via bluetooth to my pc, whenever I connect the controller it shows up as a bluetooth audio device, so I guess it was trying to play the audio via bluetooth in certain instances which doesn't work with the ps5 controller.

So the solution is to first of all connect the controller via cable instead of bluetooth, then go into your bluetooth devices and remove the dualsense controller from the audio devices.

Unmute your gamepad. Audio comes out of the gamepad in this game, so it needs to be unmuted :)
