Even with maximized window option. I know what you mean, having a choice would be good! It may come sometime....
The cut scenes are needlessly long so far in this game, and 80% of the content doesn't matter to the story, but you never know when the 20% that matters is gonna pop up. You can EASILY pay attention to dialog while doing things like answer a discord message. I do it in other games. I would also like to be able to do things while I wait for a machine to take 5011 years to move to where I can stealth kill it from a hiding spot. Game pauses on that too.
Window Management > Input/Output Behavior > Continue Rendering
It can also enable background gamepad input in games if you want to, for example, have Discord running on a different monitor and typing there while playing the game with a gamepad.
You'll need a newer version of SK than is on the website though, that's not fully compatible with this game.

I also don't see Window Management as an option anywhere. Which is a shame!
And as far as I know, SK works with all versions of this game now. If you use frame generation, you will need to use local injection, but that aside, there are no known issues.
SK's completely free, if you can just get it to work :) No premium features.
