No, the reason, why the faction reputation is reseted, i guess, is that the month is over. The race about the best faction starts again and no faction should have an advantage. ;)

Thats kinda lame I thought you could keep your reputation rank,rookie/gangster etc either way,not like it would affect the faction leaderboards.
yeah, that way reaching 10.000$ a day becomes really hard
yet i had to do quite a lot of race probably 100... just to rech 2nd level in 1 region... If we have to restart every month... I give up

yes it is resest monthly and the winning faction gets some limtied time bonus races or something like that, but ut all starts over each month kind of a competition on a global scale

We should be able to keep our personnal faction reputation. I see no point bothering with reputation ranks(gangster etc) if its reseting every months.

I agree with Uiharumorphous, why can't we keep our personal reputation? It shouldn't affect the monthly faction war.

I must have put in 200 hours or more last month working my way up to Underboss (175,000 a day), slowly creeping toward Boss. Now I wake up today and suddenly I'm a Rookie again? I don't think so! :angry_creep:

So you expect me to do that all over again this month, just so I can lose it all again at the end of the month? Is this some lame attempt to encourage/force players to keep playing PvP?

I play this game because I like it, I enjoy the PvP and I like the money I make, but I don't like to be FORCED to do it. The money and the races are motivation enough, but taking away all the rep I built up? That could backfire on you!

I log in every day because I get paid so much, so what's my incentive to log in now? Rookie indeed... I can make 2 grand in 30 seconds in a monster truck on the sand dunes!

I've already bought all the cars. So when I do play it, maybe I'll just freeride and not bother building up something you'll just take away from me at the end of the month. Incentives are a good thing, this is a disincentive.. Or rather, it's a good incentive to take a break and play something else for a change.

How about this for a reasonable suggestion? If you don't play PvP regularly, your reputation could go down slowly, just like it goes up slowly when you do. That would make more sense, like losing experience if you don't keep practicing. That would be a good incentive. But losing all your rep overnight makes no sense. It doesn't have to contribute to the monthly score, just to your daily income.

I'm guessing your rep counts towards the scores for each faction

Update: after sending friends on 10 faction missions, I just logged in to find that my faction reputation has already increased from Rookie to Lieutentant (Rank 4) and my daily income from 2,000 to 43,798, without even playing the game! That's a helluva fast increase! Does that mean I'll be back to Underboss in a day or two?

Is this simply because I sent a bunch of friends on missions, or does my previous rank have something to do with it? Either way, if my reputation is restored this quickly it won't matter if I lose it all at the end of every month.

Oh man I just experienced this for the first time myself. What a silly mechanic. It's not about balancing anything, they just want more people to buy Crew Credits when they get frustrated when their daily income gets slashed 95-99% at the end of the month. That is greasy, even for Ubi...
Strategikal Oct 1, 2016 @ 1:01pm
Yeah, doesn't give much incentive to build up your reputation if you're going to lose it all. It's easy enough to restore it to a modest level though (like 40k or so).

Logically therefore, if you do want to earn a ton of money each day, it's best to put in the PvP hours EARLY IN THE MONTH to get your rank high as quickly as possibly so you can benefit from the high daily income all month. No point grinding your rep during the last week or two just before you lose it all again.

I've been winning a lot of races and I never got past Street Boss up to Under Boss. So what does it matter?
Strategikal Oct 1, 2016 @ 2:01pm
I don't think it matters that much, you can make plenty of money just sending friends on 10 missions twice a day, 214,000 bucks to be precise (256,800 if you have the 20% bonus). That's a million every 4 or 5 days. The reputation income is just a nice little bonus.

Meh, in 12hours (using friends ghosts) you can reach Rank 3, so don't see the complain

Yeah I stand corrected actually, it took no time to get back to the rank I had before the reset, maybe you get a bonus for the first day of the month or something. One slew of friends missions and a half-dozen or so races at the summit and I went from gangsta-street boss, as opposed to several days of constant PVP when I first got that far.
