Please Help! cant play with my friend

Me and my brother cant play together since the game launched.
We tryed to play again a week ago because we wore sure they fixed this but still the same issue.

We cant see each others cars in game and we cant join each other in a crew, we allways getting the same issue "cant join the crew" or something like that. We have tried pretty much everything, open ports, turning of all firewalls and so on. We play other online games together with no problems so wtf is different with The Crew?!

Pls help this is gamebreaking for me and him. And we both see other random players in game and can join them without problems.

Ok lets go through some checklists of stuff that might be causing this.
1. Check that your not already in a crew by looking at yourself in the friends view.
2. Check that yours friends on Uplay ( you probably are but its one of those small things)
3. Try going into the garage and then back into the world then send another crew invite.
4. You dont see each other instantly when you see each others names. It can take anywhere from 3 to 20 seconds usually only around 9 to 15ish.
5. Make sure you have decent internet ( im not trying to insult you at all because I have no idea what your internet is, but im just saying it can be problem)

Thats all the steps I have and btw turning off your firewall is a really bad idea.

I've expierienced the same issue.
Only thing i could and option i had left was call the internetprovider, they said my router was pretty old(10 years) and sended me a new one(for free) a Experia v8, since i installed the new router i always see loads of people.
I could play all other games on my old router except The Crew just like you Zombie.

And how can the problem be at our end when we both can see and play with random ppl

Do you and your brother live in the same house and use the same internet connection?

Ahh, then I don't sure what's the problem, It's just I heard somewhere that you can't play with someone who's behind the same router as you.

I'm having a similar problem. My friends and I can see each other and crew up, but we can't play missions together. It was working fine between two of us until the patch, and intermittently with the third; now it doesn't work at all.

There is a thing i tried yesturday, i added a random player as friend and to my crew and it worked fine, then i restarted the game and after that i had the same problem with this random player like i have with my brother. so it seems everytime i add anyone to my friend list i cant play with that person anymore

Is there really no legit fix for this, i have been serching for a fix atleast once every 2 weeks in the past 2 months now and all i get is the same solutions over and over again.
I have gone step by step everything ubisoft say i should do on the support forum and thats about every solution i can find and nothing makes any difference to my game. Like i said beffore i do see other players online but really i do think i should see more then i do and PVP races allmost never finds any players either. I have not been able to play the game like they advertise a single time.
The worst part is i spent the extra money on the gold edition and i could not care less about the dlc i gett all the time, i would rather be able to play with my friends.

It sound a bit weird how that could be the problem. And i dont use a router, my PC is connected by cable directly to the modem and its not that old either.

One thing I could advise you, it's to try to use VPN Gate (some people are saying it's the only solution that helped them), there's a couple of guides on Crew forums and on Steam guides also, but they are not translated to english so I'm not sure how they could be helpful to you...
